October / Arrowhead Skin Track Map

This is a popular ski touring route which is generally considered to be moderate. It's very remote, it features low exposure (e1) and is typically done between October and June. From a low point of 2.3 km to the maximum altitude of 2.6 km, the route covers 1.6 km, 256 vertical metres of ascent and 2 vertical metres of descent. It's graded 1.1 and Labande grade 1. You'll need skins to complete it safely.

Description

The October/ Arrowhead skin track is the easiest route through the trees to get to and from the bottoms of October and Arrowhead bowls. It consists of many micro basins, and you may have to side step and scoot to get around. It is pretty easy to get turned around in this area.
