October Bowl East Face Map

The East face of October Bowl slides multiple times a year due to wind loading and the underlying rock slabs on the upper portion of the face. That said, it’s a really great spot to shred if you can time it right. There are multiple steep entrances, and a few small spines to get on before you get into the wide open, moderately steep main bowl. Be careful of the cornices that protect the entrances to many of the lines.

Difficulty

Severe

Steep skiing at 38-45 degrees. This requires very good technique and the risk of falling has serious consequences.
