Phazer Map

Phazer is the skier's right line of the two chutes directly above The Great One. It is just a little easier than Tazer because it doesn't have a tight rock crux in it. It is consistently pitched at about 45 degrees. The width stays the same at around 10 feet wide throughout, depending on snow levels. Like Tazer, there can be a cornice at the top. This line is closer to The Great One and your slough will certainly be spilling over the 50 feet cliffs directly to your right. A fall in either Tazer or Phazer would be catastrophic, and probably deadly. Once down the line, you'll be in the middle of The Great One. Head fall line down the bowl or left into the lower section of The Great One. To get to Naya Nuki and The Great One, take Fairy Lake road to the summer parking lot and head up the trail to Sacajawea. Keep going South to the South summit, Nya Nuki. Once down, trend left, making your way to Fairy Lake and back back down the road.
