Description
It begins from Snowbowl by heading up Point 6, down through Jenny Bowl before climbing a long ridge and dropping a steep continuous face down to water's edge of Grant Creek. From there a sustained steep climb brings you back to the ski area.
Although close to familiar and forgiving terrain of Jenny Bowl, the descent from the ridge takes you down a steep open face that is certainly prone to avalanches. The south and east aspect gets pleanty of sun and the lower elevation can make for mixed conditions, so make sure you hit this with a fat and stable snowpack.
That being said, this face, which you can see on your drive up to the hill, contains some of the longest continuous steeps in the vicinity and has at least three known descent chutes, all of which are a fun ride on the right day.
