The Ruler Map

The Ruler is one of the Northern Bridgers' classic lines. It is a 500 feet x 10 feet wide chute between huge rock walls. Its pretty steep too at about 45 degrees. There is a great run out below, where you get almost another 1000 feet of skiing. This thing is directly north facing and can hold some great snow. It sticks around too and has been skied well into the summer by diehards. Get to Fairy Lake and then head South along the 500 trail underneath Sac and Nya Nuki. Ski down into the basin under the South face of Nya Nuki, and start heading up and left towards the bottom of the Ruler. Put your skis on your back and start booting the 500ft to the top of the chute.
