This is a popular hiking route which is generally considered to be difficult. It's remote, it features medium exposure and is typically done all year round. From a low point of 421 m to the maximum altitude of 962 m, the route covers 6.5 km, 541 vertical metres of ascent and 541 vertical metres of descent.
Description
A harder loop up to the top of Monadnock gives a great introduction to much larger hikes further up north. The top of the mountain offers amazing 360º views and is a great way to experience life above tree line
