Gully #1 Map

Gully #1, or Main Gully is the widest of the 3 gullies, it is also the most interesting. Being more of an open face at the top than a gully, it historically gets less windloaded than other routes in the area. The best way to approach is by ascending from the bottom, which may require crampons. The upper section of Main Gully is split into multiple skinny slides. These merge into one main gully above an ice bulge, which you can hop or skirt to skiers right. The bottom is roomy and low angle, with a few bushes here an there. Unlike other slides, Main Gully has a cut exit trail to GOS Trail.
