Turkey Feather is a line that almost never gets skied, most likely because of the two 10 foot, non vertical ice bulges that guard the exit. These can fill in with enough snow, but in most years they require a mandatory air or rappel to negotiate. The line begins with a traverse skiers right from the top of Turkey Chute. Ski down the sidewall of the gully into the gut and make a few more turns to the crux. The first ice bulge is the biggest, some years it can be snuck around the skiers left, others it's a mandatory air. The second ice bulge is easier to sneak around from either side, but still presents some exposure if you blow it anywhere above it. Traverse hard skiers left to avoid a boulder field and join the bottom of Airplane Gully. From here you can boot up or enjoy a few more turns to the floor of the Gulf, assuming you don’t mind the extra hike back. Be aware that this is as complex and exposed as it gets in Great Gulf. A fall anywhere in this terrain could be catastrophic.
