This is a popular hiking route which is generally considered to be moderate. It's remote, it features low exposure and is typically done between March and November. From a low point of 132 m to the maximum altitude of 336 m, the route covers 8.3 km, 261 vertical metres of ascent and 260 vertical metres of descent.

Description

One of my favourite things about this walk is the big rock formations you pass on your way up to the lake. It's ideal for a quick easy hike and picnic.
