Anthony Lakes Loop Map

Anthony Lakes is one of the most popular mountain bike trail systems in Northeast Oregon, and this short loop provides a quick tour of the lakes. While the route mapped here is only 4.3 miles long, it can easily be extended with the Elkhorn Crest Trail, or with other trails in the Anthony Lakes network. According to AnthonyLakes.com, there’s over 8 miles of singletrack in this trail system.

Description

Begin from the lodge at Anthony Lakes and climb the dirt road through the ski resort. At the top of the road, pickup the Hoffer Lakes Trail to check out two beautiful alpine lakes nestled below jagged, rocky mountain peaks. Then, rip back down the mountain on entertaining singletrack!

Once back done, wind around to explore Anthony Lake itself, and consider an additional side trip to Black Lake.

For a more downhill-oriented adventure, the ski area has recently built a new flow trail, known as the Broadway Flow Trail. According to Anthony Lakes, it’s "almost three miles of flowing downhill & banked turns, available to all level of riders!"
