This trail starts at the Bandy Creek backcountry parking lot and makes its way over to the Laurel Creek trail. Enjoy several water crossings with several great campsites toward the end of the trail. Watch for downed trees, as scrambles are common on this lesser maintained trail. Follow up a horse trail onto the ridge line and take the connector trail over to the John Muir Trail for a nice forest hike with some opportunities for great views. Side trails abound to head out for lookouts over the gorge.
Description
Great camping as you come down off the ridgeline towards Fall Branch trail. After Fall Branch, head towards the Litton Farm to check out an old farmstead and take your final climb out of the gorge.
