The Birch Creek Unit of Lake Somerville State Park provides a gorgeous getaway on the shores of an expansive lake. This unit of the state park offers extensive camping opportunities, and conveniently enough, you can access a great trail system directly from camp.

Description

The trails here are popular with mountain bikers, hikers, and trail runners alike. The route shown here attempts to maximize the distance along trails in this network without creating an overly complex route. There are additional connector trails that will allow you to create a more complex ride, shorten this route if desired, or possibly lengthen it marginally.
