"Although there are many twists and turns, the footing is good and will make it a short, fast day," according to Gemini Adventures. With the Expedition Stage to follow, Stage 3 the racer's opportunity to stretch out their legs and gather their thoughts before the 41-mile mountain stage on Thursday.

Unlike the previous stages, there are no aid stations or water drops on Stage 3. Lunch is provided afterward at the base camp, then racers are given the remainder of the afternoon to relax.
