Killington has several options for uphill access around the clock. This is the primary route in Killington’s main area (the other area is Pico Mountain). It goes up Header trail beneath Ramshead Express to the top of the lift, and an extension goes out Frolic trail to the top of Snowdon Mountain. This makes an efficient climb on groomers, totalling about 1300 feet if you go all the way to Snowdon. There is of course the option to turn around sooner and make a shorter route as well. Note that Frolic is sometimes closed to uphill until later in the season, but Header is usually the first to open.
Before you go uphill at Killington, you will check their Uphill Travel info and secure the proper pass. As of 2021/2022 season, an uphill armband is required. You can then check current conditions and uphill status on their website as well.
