Rabbit Ears Map

The upper section of Rabbit Ears is an obvious opening in the trees below the traverse towards Bear Pits. Work either side of the rocky rib. The skiers right side is less popular and a little steeper. Follow the run between the twin cliffs that give this run its name to the open slope below. Often the snow just below the ear-shaped cliffs is untracked and protected. From here ski/ride back to the base of Chair 6.

Serious gradient of 30-38 degrees where a real risk of slipping exists.

Low Exposure (E1)

Exposure is limited to that of the slope itself. Getting hurt is still likely if the slope is steep and/or the snow is hard.
