This is a popular hiking route which is generally considered to be difficult. It's very remote, it features high exposure and is typically done between July and October. From a low point of 1.4 km to the maximum altitude of 2.4 km, the route covers 46 km, 2677 vertical metres of ascent and 2673 vertical metres of descent.

Description

On this route, you will summit Old Snowy and Hawkeye Peak, visit Goat Lake and Heart Lake, travel across the most famous section of the PCT, and explore the many beautiful alpine meadows.
