The journey from Townsend to Alice Rawson Peak is simple, head east from the summit for a few hundred metres before following the obvious rocky ridge to the north, reaching the highest point which is Alice Rawson Peak. This journey also provides some incredible views, so soak it all in before dropping into some seriously good terrain.

Thredbo and Kosciuszko

Thredbo has the longest vertical drop out of the Australian resorts and has great snow making facilities.  Its a good all rounder although probably best for intermediates with lively nightlife.
