From the top of Merritts to the Twin Valleys is a relatively simple skin out across the Ramshead Range. Ski approximately 1 kilometre north until you reach a flat plateau on the range, then turn to the north-east, and head out for around 2.5 kilometres and you will find yourself around the top of the Southern Twin Valley. This journey will take you approximately 2 hours.
