This is a popular hiking route which is generally considered to be severe. It's very remote, it features high exposure and is typically done between June and August. From a low point of 475 m to the maximum altitude of 2 km, the route covers 50 km, 3540 vertical metres of ascent and 3536 vertical metres of descent.

Description

Up and down... You surely need great weather and especially strong knees for descending. My moving time was 13h and 51min. Total time of 17 hours. If you are on top of Zahmer Kaiser (between Petersköpfl and Pyramidespitze), you may meet many chamois.
