This is the shortest way to get to the summit of the Wildspitze in the summer. From the cable car in Vent (Ötztal) , a 2,5 hour walk takes you to the Breslauer Hut (2844m). On a marked trail you reach the glacier "Mitterkarferner" and via a via ferata you get to the "Mitterkarjoch" (take sets) at 3470m. First flat, then step and flat again you get to snowy shoulder west of the summit ridgeline. Scrambeling up the generally good rok you reach the summit after about 30 minutes. Descend like ascend.
