From where you park you will slog through the trees and eventually pop out under a rock shelf which feels like you are almost there. You skirt around this section and then are in a bit more technical rock and footing. You will navigate your way up and see some unique rock and crumbly rock. There are a few small holes through the rocks and once up on Gap Peak you can traverse many ridges to link up various peaks such as Anklebiter ridger, Mount Fable Etc.
