This is a popular freeride skiing route which is generally considered to be extreme. It's remote, it features medium exposure (e2) and is typically done between December and March. From a low point of 2 km to the maximum altitude of 2.4 km, the route covers 513 m, 0 vertical metres of ascent and 391 vertical metres of descent. It's graded 4.3 and Labande grade 5. You'll need skins to complete it safely.

Description

Access from the East Col bootpack, this massive narrow couloir is one of the most iconic off-piste runs on Blackcomb. The snow can be variable at times, so watch out and be smart.

WARNING: This run is considered out of bounds, bring proper equipment.
