75m of pillows! Steep lines and mellow lines. Lots of hiking.
Freeride Skiing Severe
There is a clearing in the trees that is filled with boulders. It makes for the perfect pillow zone. The skiers right offers lower angle pillows to play on. The left has some steep short lines. It works best when the freezing levels are at valley bottom and there is good snow at the top of the Gondola. Be warned, you have to boot pack back up what you ride down. It is only about 100m and takes about 10 minutes. Some people try to ski traverse back to Kill the Banker, but don't. It's very hard and you can easily get lost and end up at the river, at the bottom of the mountain. This area is not patrolled. Avalanche danger exists.
Severe
Steep skiing at 38-45 degrees. This requires very good technique and the risk of falling has serious consequences.
