Stupid East Map

The ridge known as 'The Stupids' has several fun lines down it, Stupid East being the most open and 'easy' (for a double black). View the ridge out from below to check out entrances and cornices as depending on the snow that year, as they can get quite sizeable up there. Most years the cornice develops smaller on the right, therefore enter by traversing in under it to the left. Viewing it from below also allows you to check for any cornice debris.

Description

Access the ridge by bootpacking up from the top of 7th Heaven chair. The path of the bootpack follows the South (7th Heaven) side of the ridge and meanders its way dropping you off at the top in about 10 minutes.

Stupid East can either be skied as a fairly open pitch or take some small airs to either side. The run will lead you back onto Showcase T-Bar.
