This is a popular hiking route which is generally considered to be difficult. It's remote, it features medium exposure and is typically done between December and May. From a low point of 963 m to the maximum altitude of 1.8 km, the route covers 11 km, 953 vertical metres of ascent and 552 vertical metres of descent.

Description

The best way to approach the Lonquimay volcano for the first time. Ascend by hiking immersive native forests and summit some very rare cerros having amazing 360 views of the valleys and volcanoes.
