The Magic Forest

From the top of the Retour Pendant chairlift, ski down the Arolles piste then turn right onto the Chamois piste. After c.50 metres, drop off this left and ski through nicely spaced trees to a jeep track. There are numerous variations and options for routes, which all reach the same track. Turn left and traverse back to the foot of the Retour Pendant chairlift via some short sections of poling and side stepping. Don't be tempted to carry on downhill past the jeep track or you will end up in very tight trees and there are no more lifts to take back up! You can spend a whole day lapping this run on different lines if the mountain is stormbound above!
