This is a popular hiking route which is generally considered to be easy. It's not remote, it features low exposure and is typically done all year round. From a low point of 1.1 km to the maximum altitude of 1.4 km, the route covers 6.5 km, 280 vertical metres of ascent and 280 vertical metres of descent.
Description
Von der Bushaltestelle Spitzingsattel aus läuft man in Richtung Kurvenlift, dann auf einer Forststraße zur Unteren Firstalm hinauf und weiter zur Oberen Firstalm. Der Abstieg erfolgt über die Forststraße (Winterrodelstrecke) zurück zum Spitzingsattel.
