North Shore Downhill Müggelberge Loop Map

Located east of the city in the Müggelberge hills lies what is, arguably, Berlin’s best downhill track. It's a north shore classic, and it's surrounded by many other jumps to try, so you’ll have plenty to keep you occupied in a day's ride.

Description

This adventure takes you from Am Müggelberg up through the forest to the Northshore line, and then down across to Kleiner Müggelberg. You should stop here to climb to the top of the Müggelturm observation tower, which has an amazing panoramic view of up to 50 kilometres.

Continuing along the trail, you'll sweep down and around to the neighbouring hill of Müggelberge, finishing with a gentle descent back to the place you started.

The Müggelberge hills are surrounded by dense forest, so you really feel that you’ve left the city behind you. That said, there are still, of course, a few classic German beer gardens dotted around the area where you can quench your thirst after your ride!
