This is a popular ski touring route which is generally considered to be moderate. It's extremely remote, it features medium exposure (e2) and is typically done between March and September. From a low point of 14 m to the maximum altitude of 1.8 km, the route covers 157 km, 2936 vertical metres of ascent and 2269 vertical metres of descent. It's graded 1.1 and Labande grade 2. You'll need rope, skins, ice axe, crampons and glacier kit to complete it safely.
