This is a popular hiking route which is generally considered to be difficult. It's very remote, it features medium exposure and is typically done between July and September. From a low point of 2.1 km to the maximum altitude of 4.2 km, the route covers 18 km, 2346 vertical metres of ascent and 487 vertical metres of descent.
Description
A 37 kms ( to and fro) tiring day trek from Batkoot village of Pahalgam along the Langnai Nala and Purhirpajan and Langnai Valley Campsite. The Langnai Lake has an elevation of 3920 meters and have to ascent 4000 meter pass to reach the Ditap Nag.
