It's a technically easy but rewarding circular route that takes you up the most iconic col in Madrid province via forest roads through varied scenery. The climb, especially the last part, is full of loose stones and really tedious. Route avoids asphalt roads as much as possible, only the last part of the climb and part of descent are done on public road. The descent to La Barranca is a great and flowy singletrack, with just a few points where some may need to dismount. The route packs a lot of variety for its short distance and gives you great introduction to Madrid's most popular mountain area.
