This is a popular ski touring route which is generally considered to be moderate. It's not remote, it features low exposure (e1) and is typically done between December and March. From a low point of 1.2 km to the maximum altitude of 1.7 km, the route covers 6.6 km, 757 vertical metres of ascent and 288 vertical metres of descent. It's graded 2.2 and Labande grade 3. You'll need skins to complete it safely.

Description

A classic of the south face of the dôle. A fairly wide and short corridor. A minimum level of knowledge in avalanche danger is advised. Not very dangerous route but quite steep at the start. Good knowledge of ski touring. Allow a minimum of 30 minutes to descend and ascend.
