From the Wädenswil railway station head uphill to Rötibodenholz and on to Waggital, Aahalden and Mugeren before coming to a nice picnic spot with excellent views of the surrounding rolling hills. From there continue to Hirzel where you can visit the museum house of Johanna Spyri, the author of Heidi. Climb steeply out of the village and continue on to the Chruzelenmoss nature preserve and onwards to Aamüli until finally you reach Au railway station, the end point of the hike.
