Balaclava is a fairly difficult bowl that you can take from hiking to Upper Glove Bowl. You can also cut skiers' right into the chute from Markleeville Bowl, but you'd be missing most of the bowl if you did it this way. The main bowl itself pretty narrow and steep but it mellows out rather quickly
