Take Chair 4 to Chair 15 and then hike up to Melissa Coray Peak, then to continue to Peak 9795. Skins can be helpful. Two entrances from the summit of Peak 9795 create a Y Couloir that is decently pitched. The snow can be extremely variable due to its western exposure. Skier's right side tends to firm up from the melt-freeze cycle from direct sun exposure. Stay to the skier's left to find better snow on the descent. From here you can ski down a mellow slope area down to Emigrant Lake.

Difficulty

Severe

As well as the slope itself, there are some obstacles (such as rock outcrops) which could aggravate injury.
