An area with steep turns and ice fall cliffs that lead into a wide open sunny bowl above Emigrant Lake. An easy traverse from the Chair 15 & 16 that lead into the north facing and eastern facing chutes. You can avoid exposure but skiing the 'Main Line' which is directly north facing. Ice fall cliffs lead into the bowl below. CAUTION - to make an easier traverse back to Chair 4, stay high to the left and do not ski all the way to Emigrant Lake. If you do ski to Emigrant Lake, stay on the left (west shore) of the lake and sidestep back to the west direction of the resort.
