This is a popular freeride skiing route which is generally considered to be difficult. It's remote, it features medium exposure (e2) and is typically done between January and April. From a low point of 2.6 km to the maximum altitude of 2.7 km, the route covers 178 m, 0 vertical metres of ascent and 64 vertical metres of descent.

Description

Crux Chute requires a short hike/traverse to reach from Frog Pond Gully. While its pitch isn't anything amazing, it does offer a really quick and exciting through two large cliffs. This is a great starter chute-type run for those looking to get into more extreme terrain!
