This bowl is heavily affected by it's lower elevation and the Eastern Wind that it's exposed to. However, when the snow quality is good, there's really not a better place to be on the mountain! The bowl is very wide open and only significantly narrows towards the end when the run passes through a rocky area. Speaking of rocks, as compared to the rest of the Deadwood Round-Top Backcountry Ski Area, this bowl doesn't hold snow nearly as well and can be susceptible to several rocks sticking out. Also please heed caution to the abundant number of cliffs on the sides of the run. When you finish, the only downside is you now have a long arduous catwalk back to the base of 9374 Peak.
