This is a popular freeride skiing route which is generally considered to be easy. It's extremely remote, it features low exposure (e1) and is typically done between December and April. From a low point of 2.3 km to the maximum altitude of 2.7 km, the route covers 5.5 km, 115 vertical metres of ascent and 538 vertical metres of descent. It's graded 1.3 and Labande grade 2. You'll need skins to complete it safely.

Description

This is the only way (other than the Deadwood Trail) beginners can safely get to the Deadwood Peak Base Area (which is home to the Deadwood glades which are also relatively beginner friendly).
