This is a popular freeride skiing route which is generally considered to be difficult. It's extremely remote, it features high exposure (e3) and is typically done between January and March. From a low point of 2.4 km to the maximum altitude of 2.9 km, the route covers 2.6 km, 2 vertical metres of ascent and 492 vertical metres of descent. It's graded 4.1 and Labande grade 4. You'll need rope and skins to complete it safely.

Description

This is a fun alternative to Elephants face that gives you access to some fun cliffs to jump off. At heart, this is a steep traverse that takes you to a less frequently skied area of the mountain. It's definitely worth skiing for the solid advanced skier
