Woods Lake Bowl Map

This is a slightly easier alternative to the ultra steep Woods Lake Chutes that can be accessed from the bottom of Waterhouse Bowl. Skiers' right side of the bowl is more gladed while skiers right side has more cliffs but is more open. You'll have to do a bit of a traverse towards the bottom but it's not as bad as the egress out of the Woods Lake Chutes. Very gnarly area that should be attempted only by experts despite its ease of access.

Difficulty

Severe

Steep skiing at 38-45 degrees. This requires very good technique and the risk of falling has serious consequences.

As well as the slope itself, there are some obstacles (such as rock outcrops) which could aggravate injury.
