Most people hike Sister II to ski the legendary Sister II Couloir on the backside. Some however ski these lines. The face has two entrances: one slightly below the peak and one exactly at the peak. It's generally regarded that the first entrance is a bit easier as it's much wider open. Both entrances funnel into a pretty tight area between two rock faces before opening up into a wide bowl directly above Round Top Lake. The most challenging part of this line is to SERIOUSLY REGULATE YOUR SPEED. If you come out flying, you might not be able to control yourself and as a result go flying over Round Top Lake which can be risky depending on the time of year. Hence why you need to make a hard turn skiers' left to avoid the lake. While Sister II Couloir is certainly the more extraordinary of the two lines, these chutes won't disappoint if you do manage to ski them... Note that this is significantly harder than The "W" Chutes
