Hidden Chutes are steep tree chutes off of Sunset Ridge in Funnel.
Freeride Skiing Severe
Hidden Chutes are found when you drop off of Sunset Ridge back towards Funnel. After the first open section of Sunset Ridge through shorter trees, you can stay right into the steep trees to find Hidden Chutes. There are a couple big rock formations about 10-20 feet tall that aren't really good for skiing but offer a good landmark to know your are in the right area. You'll rejoin Funnel as it chokes past the big rock or just after. You can ski to the bottom of Funnel into the Banana Exit or traverse hard right under Total Recall to catch the traverse to Aspen Park Road.
Severe
Steep skiing at 38-45 degrees. This requires very good technique and the risk of falling has serious consequences.
