Madusa Map

Madusa is located just skiers left of the Upper Ladder Chute. To access this run hike from the High Alpine Lift. After you finish the hike, put your skis on and stay high and skier's right until you reach the boundary rope. Take Adios Ridge to the Upper Ladder. When you reach the Upper Ladder chute head a tiny bit to skier's left. This will put you on a ridge that is called Madusa because if you stay on this ridge you will end up jumping off a rock called Madusa. If you don't want to ski the ridge with multiple drops before jumping off Madusa you can ski down the Upper Ladder chute and traverse to your left to still jump off Madusa. It is named this because of the roots than hang off the rock looking like the hair of Madusa. If you have the skills you can jump off Madusa you can get quite a bit of air. If you go off the nose you can go as big as 35ft in the air. If you jump off more to skiers right you can jump as little as 5ft. This is a very challenging and technical run which should only be attempted by the most skilled and experienced freeriders.
