Mini Headwall Map

To get to this locals secret take Zugspitze about three quarters of the way down. When it flattens out look for a narrow trail going to the left into the woods. Take this trail and it will take you to a little clearing. Then head downhill for a few hundred feet until you reach the Mini Headwall. The Mini Headwall isn't marked on the map but it's approximately double black diamond steepness and about 200ft long. This is a locals favorite and great run to work on steeps without a lot of commitment as it's very short and it flattens out after the steep section. This is an ideal place to ski your first double black diamond.
