Rocky Mountain Lake Park Loop Map

This small park located right off of I-70 in Denver is home to an unexpectedly beautiful little lake that was originally a watering hole on the Overland Trail. For a beautiful nature walk, follow this one-mile loop around the lake for an easy but scenic outing.

Description

The walking on this flat loop is easy, making it perfect for the entire family. The pond and the lush, green surroundings offer a welcome respite from the rush of the city, but unfortunately, the noise from the nearby interstate dampens the enjoyment of what would otherwise be a beautiful little getaway.
