Magic Forest -> Old 9 Line -> Mane Lane Map

Riding Magic Forest to Old 9 Line to Mane Lane comprises the gnarliest, most technical descent down the mountain. Old 9 Line is rated double black by the resort, which means it is not to be trifled with!

Description

According to Vail, Magic Forest offers several drop offs and technical features. Once you get to Old 9 Line, the trail becomes "extremely steep and technical with numerous drops and features."

Mane Lane isn't much easier, with more challenging tech coupled with a few banked turns.

Most of the drops here feature built-up logs embedded in the trail and while many can be rolled, that's not possible for all of them. Alternate lines in a couple places lead to massive 6-8-foot cliff drops--scout the features before you hit them!
