This is a popular ski touring route which is generally considered to be easy. It's not remote, it features low exposure (e1) and is typically done between November and May. From a low point of 3.4 km to the maximum altitude of 3.6 km, the route covers 726 m, 0 vertical metres of ascent and 170 vertical metres of descent. You'll need skins to complete it safely.

Description

This route follows the opening that boot-packers would take on their way up the standard west side approach to the upper west weather station.
