Hanging Meadow Map

Hanging Meadow is similar to High Trail Trees - a fun section of well pitched trees above the warming hut. The skin required to get to Hanging Meadow is more than twice as long as that to Shop Chutes, but still quite easy. The skiing in Hanging Meadow is fun, tree skiing with a pitch ranging anywhere from the low to high 30 degrees. The snow in here is well protected from the sun, but it can be effected by the wind, especially since it is significantly more open than High Trail Trees. When it is good, it is very good, but when the wind has gotten to it, Hanging Meadow can be quite scoured despite the trees. Furthermore, everything to the north-west of High Trail Trees (Hanging Meadow, Sentinel, North Chute and High Trail Cliffs) has significant avalanche danger.
