This is a popular ski touring route which is generally considered to be moderate. It's remote, it features unknown exposure and is typically done between December and April. From a low point of 3.4 km to the maximum altitude of 3.5 km, the route covers 411 m, 0 vertical metres of ascent and 137 vertical metres of descent.
Description
Hidden Knob is on the east side of Hidden Knoll, below and to the east of Y chute. It has a northern aspect so the snow is often quite good. Since it is pretty low-angle it also offers a safer route into the subalpine.
